 SELF CONFIDENCE

"Absence of self-assurance (self-confidence) is, indeed, an issue of absence of mindfulness. Once you know about yourself, you know what you are, why you are. Then you are able to make yourself better!"

Sources of Self-Confidence

Knowledge is the first source of self-confidence, so increase your knowledge. Knowledge includes textbook knowledge as well as non-textbook knowledge. You cannot acquire all the knowledge, but unless you know a great deal about your field, you will not gain self-confidence.

Improve your character. The better and truer a person is, the more trust he has. Fear is in what is a thief. Only then is the saying well known that a Straw in the thief's beard, which means "there is fear in the heart of a thief."

The more we understand ourselves, the more confidence we will have. Someone insulted Socrates. He started to smile, someone said you should be ashamed that someone abused you and your smile? Socrates now says, "What he is saying is wrong, because I am not him." Whoever finds it has control over it. He is well aware that I am not going to be offended by anyone.

He who has more faith in Allah Almighty has more faith in Him. He has no fear. He knows that Allah is the Protector and who can be a greater protector than him.

Practice also builds confidence. Practice everything that can be improved. When we are very serious about something, we practice it a lot, which makes our performance better. When a practitioner sits for an exam, he is more confident that he will solve his paper well.

Sometimes the home environment is so good and positive that it builds self-confidence.

Gain small amounts of trust. People who have won some medals, who have a better chance of advancing, have more confidence.

Learn to respect yourself. People who value and respect themselves have more confidence. When you believe in yourself, then the day is not far when the world will believe in you. If you do not respect yourself, it is not possible for others to respect you. Dr. Wayne W. Dyer wrote somewhere in his book, “The first love a man should have for someone is his own self. On the off chance that you don't adore yourself, you can't cherish others.”
